Medical Dermatology - Quick Diagnosis. Targeted Treatment. Visible Relief.
From viral breakouts to bacterial rashes, skin infections can appear suddenly and spread quickly. They may be itchy, painful, or cause cosmetic concern — and in some cases, lead to complications if left untreated. At On the Spot Dermatology, we’re here to help you find relief fast with prompt diagnosis and in-office treatments when needed.
We treat a wide range of common infectious skin conditions for both children and adults. Whether it’s a stubborn wart, a red ring-like rash, or a breakout that just won’t go away, our team can help.
We diagnose infectious conditions based on appearance and clinical expertise, and provide:
Our goal is to treat the infection quickly, reduce the risk of spreading, and restore your skin’s health with minimal disruption.
We diagnose and treat a wide range of infectious and viral skin conditions, including:
Caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), warts are rough, raised growths that often appear on hands, feet, or other areas. They may spread through contact or self-transfer. Treatment options include cryotherapy (freezing), topical medications, or removal procedures.
A viral skin infection that causes small, dome-shaped bumps with a central dimple. Most common in children, but also seen in adults. It’s contagious through skin-to-skin contact. Treatments include cryotherapy or topical solutions to speed resolution.
Small, painful blisters typically appearing around the mouth, caused by HSV-1. Triggers include stress, sun exposure, or illness. While there’s no cure, antiviral medications can reduce severity, duration, and frequency of outbreaks.
A reactivation of the chickenpox virus that causes a painful, blistering rash usually on one side of the body or face. Early antiviral treatment can reduce symptoms and the risk of long-term nerve pain (postherpetic neuralgia).
A contagious bacterial skin infection, common in children, that causes red sores or honey-colored crusts, usually around the nose and mouth. Treated with prescription antibiotic creams or oral antibiotics depending on severity.
A fungal infection that causes red, ring-shaped patches with clearer centers. It’s contagious and spreads through skin contact or contaminated surfaces. Treated with antifungal creams or oral medications in more stubborn cases.
A fungal overgrowth that interferes with normal skin pigmentation, leading to patches that may be lighter or darker than surrounding skin. Often appears on the chest, back, or shoulders. Treated with antifungal shampoos or prescriptions.
Thickened, discolored, or brittle nails caused by fungal infection. It’s difficult to treat without prescription antifungal medications, and may take several months to clear completely. Prompt treatment helps prevent further nail damage.
